My brother got in legal trouble at age 18.

He did community service at a soup kitchen. As they were closing, a man walked in and asked if he was too late for dinner. The head chef apologized; he was. The man burst into tears.

My brother stayed extra late to make him something and it didn't even count towards his sentence.
